Kinetic SYM Flyte is Overdrive's choice among all scooters!

December 2007 issue of Overdrive, India's leading automagazine, features a very detailed 9-page comparative test of all scooters (ACCESS v/s ACTIVA v/s FLYTE v/s PLEASURE vs SCOOTY PEP+) and the expert team picks the KINETIC SYM FLYTE as their choice! :)

Some highlights from the shootout:

- Overdrive team has appreciated Flyte for its pricing, and serious style, excellent refinement and handling; dimensions that are perfect for ladies (and men who eat sensibly) as well as for being loaded with tons of features like a front fuel filler that unlocks from the ignition key, an ignition key lock to add to the safety, cell phone charger and huge illuminated two level under seat storage that can hold much more than just a full face helmet.

- Among all scooters, Flyte strikes the best ride and handling balance

- The Flyte telescopic shocks deliver excellent feeedback and offer a cushy ride at all times; especially compared to Honda Activa, Hero Honda Pleasure and Scooty Pep's primitive suspension setups

- Quality levels on the Flyte are high and the SYM design is as per current international trends with an array of add ons

- Scooty pep's "tiny" dimensions can be a hassle and ergonomics are somewhat cramped with narrow handlebar and footboard

- Flyte engine feels tuned for comfortable city hauls and is never stressed even with the throttle pinned to the stop. She remains smooth and refined as speeds build right up to her top speed of 84 kmph. Two up riding is also a breeze.

- On fuel efficiency, Flyte gives over 3 kmpl more than the Suzuki access

- In performance, Flyte is faster than the Activa and the Pep

- Flyte offers the highest top speed of all scooters (84 kmph). Others are: Scooty pep+ 70 kmph, HH Pleasure 77 kmph, Honda Activa 77 kmph and Access at 83 kmph.

SO, OVERDRIVE HAS CLEARLY MADE ITS CHOICE. NOW ARE YOU READY TO RIDE THE CHANGE??

the Statesman on the Flyte

By now, pretty much everyone who understands two wheelers has reviewed the Flyte, and the verdict is unanimously positive!!

Here is an excerpt from the Statesman's feature on the Flyte. For the complete article, you can visit: http://www.thestatesman.net/page.arcview.php?clid=30&id=202585&usrsess=1

"Kinetic’s new addition to its stable is the SYM Flyte. Fitted with a 125cc engine the scooter is brilliant when it comes to pick up and speed.

Wider and therefore more reliable tyres ensure far better road grip and balance. Powerful brakes and a good suspension have been provided. the scooter can easily take to rough roads. The scooter is equally good for rural and semi-urban roads.

Clear lens headlamps have been introduced for better visibility...With these the driver can spot even a tiny pothole distinctly and confronts absolutely no difficulty in driving on a craggy terrain. Seats have been designed scientifically with an eye on the problem of lower back pain that regular users face.

With a smart sporty look coupled with a powerful engine and a strong suspension the Kinetic sym Flyte is surely going to be a huge hit among two-wheeler users. Available in attractive colours the sym Flyte is technologically way ahead of its predecessors. If you’ve plans to buy a scooter that pays you back twice as much as you expended go get a Kinetic sym Flyte. "
